SpeedBox for Shimano STEPS E8000, E7000 & E6100 Electric Bikes without electronic Di2
This is a processor-controlled tuning tool especially for electric bikes with Shimano STEPS E8000, E7000 & E6100 drive systems. It doubles the maximum engine support from 25 km/h to 50 km/h (about 32 mph) – that means, you can drive twice as fast with full engine suppor!
If the light function of your Shimano STEPS E bike has been unlocked, you can easily switch the installed SpeedBox on or off using the light buttons (Light On = SpeedBox Off / Light Off = SpeedBox On). If the light function of your E Bike has not been unlocked, the SpeedBox is always active when the bike is switched on. By the way, you can have the light function of the bike unlocked at any time at your E Bike dealer or in a bicycle repair shop with the appropriate equipment (Shimano diagnostic devices).
Our tip: If you to want to activate the light and the SpeedBox at the same time, simply disconnect the red lighting cable of the SpeedBox. You can leave the cable disconnected.
Important: When the SpeedBox is active, your E Bike speedometer shows only half of the real speed.
Please note: The SpeedBox for Shimano Steps E8000, E7000 & E6100 engines is not compatible with Shimano STEPS electric bicycles with Di2 gear shifting systems. If you own a Shimano STEPS E Bike with Di2, you need the brand-new “SpeedBox for Shimano STEPS E8000 + electronic Di2”.

According to the manufacturer, only high-quality components from the world's leading manufacturers are used in the production of the module. The microcomputer which controls the SpeedBox has even been certified for the automobile industry! All SpeedBox modules are waterproof and robust. Each device is being tested during and after the production.
The installation of the SpeedBox is pleasantly simple thanks to the positive-locking connector plugs. A faulty connection is virtually impossible.
